Your Exciting Roadmap to Post-Lockdown Prep
For over a year now, we’ve lived in PJs and watched far too much television. The end of lockdown is looming though, and we can’t help but feel the flutter of excitement when we think of resuming our pre-lockdown lives.
What are you looking forward to the most? Entertaining? Holidays? Or simply investing a little time and energy into looking and feeling wonderful?
Whatever it is, I’m sure that we can all do with a little preparation before launching ourselves back into life.
Starting at the Top
I’m sure I speak for many of us when I say that I’m thrilled that the hair and beauty industry are lifting restrictions soon.
To enjoy a long-awaited massage, have our eyelashes done, and to relax into a delicious facial – well, it’s simply been too long. In fact, I’m certain that many of us are looking forward to a whole day of pampering if we can manage it.
I have had the pleasure of visiting 23MD Wellness and Beauty Centre for several of their incredible treatments. In the beauty centre they offer amazing facial treatments including Mesotherapy, Exilis 360 Radio frequency, Derma pen with Mesotherapy, Laser treatments, HydraFacial peels.
Dr Kersh is widely recognised as a leading specialist in the field of aesthetics and skin health and is renowned for her artistic yet natural approach to facial rejuvenation.
These treatments are the perfect way to peel away the stress of the past year and inject vitality and vigour into our tired bodies.
Another rejuvenating therapy can be found in the capable hands of the Remodelage Massage team.
Remodelage is a slimming and reshaping technique for face and body. Martine de Richeville has taken 15 years to refine this amazing technique and it continues to grow in popularity here in London and across Europe.
The process is unusual initially, but the results are quite extraordinary. If you are serious about looking and feeling amazing as we exit lockdown then this should definitely be on your to-do list.
It’s been said that when a woman changes her hair, she’s about to change her life. I tend to agree. The right hair care can make us feel like a million dollars, but we’ve had to make do for so long that I just know we’re all super-excited to refresh our crowning glory. Your post-lockdown roadmap simply must include a trip to one of our trusted hair care specialists to revitalise and refresh your tresses.
Beauty – Inside and Out
We all know that there is no better way to look and feel wonderful both inside and out, than with exercise. Whether you prefer the gentle movements of yoga or prefer a specialised training program, start now to be ready after lockdown.
Exercise has so many wonderful effects on our bodies, from oxygenating our skin to getting rid of toxins. It’s a natural way to boost our happy hormones, stimulate our minds, and shake off the monotony of being stuck at home.
We’re very excited to work alongside Michael who is a qualified personal trainer and one of the most enthusiastic and motivational people I’ve trained with. He will be posting articles on the Almost Essential website about the value of specific exercises and how to get the most out of your training. Keep an eye on our blogs for these, like his one with some great tips for arms and legs.
Let’s Get Entertaining
Do you remember those long lazy summer evenings sitting outdoors with your friends with a glass of wine and a delicious meal?
Soon we’ll be back in the swing of entertaining and enjoying social events with our friends and family. If you’re looking forward to this like I am, then let’s get prepared with inspirational spring table décor items.
Let’s make it special. Something bright, fresh, and colourful. I absolutely love these fluorescent table decorations which are somewhere between 60s retro and Millennial chic. Choose from the collection of fluorescent napkin rings, placemats, or trays to brighten up your event for spring.
Spring trends are all about cheerful accessories and finding something unique and special to create the perfect event.
Post Lockdown Prep Made Easy
There’s so much to look forward to in the near future, and I would love to help you to make the most of this time. Perhaps we should be viewing it as a new beginning. We’ve had a time to reset, to take stock, and to meditate on what’s important to us.
Soon, we will be able to throw off the weight of lockdown and embrace all the special things that we’ve so sorely missed.
Let me work alongside you to help you to enter this unique time ready to tackle whatever life has to throw at us with strength, style, and grace.
