Hand-engraving glassware is an art and I have found the one and only to go to for the most beautiful engravings of any kind. Whether you are looking at personalising any glassware with initials or a message, your favourite scenery, animals, flowers, he can do it on a plate, glass, carafe, champagne bucket, trophy…Any object you would like to be adorned to larger scale doors, windows, panels and tabletops.
Philip works mostly to commission, engraving anything from company presentations and retirement presents to trophies, anniversary and wedding presents. His subject matter ranges widely, covering heraldry, inscriptions, company logos, people’s interests, buildings and portraits of people, horses and dogs, and biblical subjects. He particularly enjoys wildlife scenes and floral designs inspired by his love of the natural world.
Philip has been a hand-engraver of glass since 1971. In January 2009 he was granted a Royal Warrant to be Hand-Engraver of Glass to Her Majesty The Queen. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers.
In 2014, he had three pieces short-listed for the Wildlife Artist of the Year Awards, and he won the Silver Artist Award.
Just contact us to discuss your commission. He also has a few pieces that can be engraved to your taste (see pictures)
