Ready for summer? Voyager makes travel better!
I have asked Voyager to put together a few ideas of cool destinations where to have fun this Summer. I am afraid I have spent too much time in London and I need to get away!
Voyager Club is Almost Essential go to Luxury travel and concierge company;  So I asked Sophie Caulcutt, the founder, to share a few of their private properties for rent this summer.
We are covering Portugal to the Balearic islands and a little dolce vita in Italy won’t hurt.

Casa Dunas, Comporta, Portugal is architecturally inspired by traditional fishermen’s houses and it’s design is in harmony with nature, perfectly combining authenticity with discreet luxury. The villa is on the dunes, facing the rice fields just behind the ocean. The property consists of the main house and two guest houses meaning it’s perfect for friends and family.
With the Balearic islands rumoured to be on the UK’s next green list and again with low covid rates, we have some beautiful private properties in Menorca and Ibiza.

San Lorenzo, Menorca is an 10 bedroom villa situated on a 300 acre estate in Sant Climent in the south of the island of Menorca and extends to the Cami de Cavalls and Es Canutells beach. This is where style, design and comfort come together.
The property has a fabulous swimming pool, gym, various outdoor dining areas, vineyard and even a treehouse. The main house has 6 bedrooms and the guest house a further 5 bedrooms with an independent sitting room.
The villa is unique and comes fully staffed with a full house team; chef, waiters, housekeepers and gardeners. This is your paradise but the villa is also in close proximity to restaurants and the beach.

Another favourite and exceptional property is Villa Apollina, Ibiza, a unique villa in Ibiza, with main house and guest house, two pools, just set back from the beach. The house has sea views from all the terraces and is perfectly positioned, 5 minutes walking distance to the beach Playa Porroig and a short drive to the Beaches of Es Cubells, Es Torrents and Cala Jondal. With a total of 8 bedrooms and bathrooms, it offers space and privacy.
The house has a perfect set-up for kids with a separate outdoor games area with a ping pong table, foosball and multiple relax and chill out areas.

Perhaps saving the best till last, one of our favourite escapes for this summer has to be Lake Como. Italian PM draghi announced last week that Italy will open its doors to travellers and a green travel pass for summer will be launched in May. If you are looking for something special, Villa Como has panoramic views over the lake and occupying the site of a former medieval watchtower, commanding one of the finest views in Europe. This 8 bedroom villa has been fully restored to exceptional standards…think Aman whilst preserving it’s original details. The villa has its own private gym, yoga/wellness room, pool house and entertainment area as well a private home office to work from paradise. The villa sits in 4.5 acres offering the peace and tranquillity that is so difficult to find on Lake Como. At 881 metres above the lake and with no immediate neighbours, the villa is an oasis of calm yet in 4 minutes (by cable car) you are down at the lake, with no traffic!
